Welcome to the British Association of Head & Neck Oncologists

BAHNO, the only truly multidisciplinary conference for professionals involved in the study and treatment of head and neck cancer.

We are pleased to confirm that #BAHNO2024 will take place on Friday 17th May at our new venue The Business Design Centre, London.

In 2023 we welcomed our biggest audience and BAHNO have therefore taken the decision to move to a large venue. We are excited for the opportunities we can explore in this new space.

The theme of the 2024 conference is Data and Outcomes in Head and Neck Cancer.

What to expect:

The Blair Hesketh Lecture presented by Professor George Davey Smith.

The best presentations from research in the UK in our Free Papers and Poster sessions.

Multi-disciplinary representation in our session for extended roles and advanced clinical practice for nursing and allied health professionals in head and neck cancer.

An exciting panel discussion with the North Glasgow MDT presenting cases to challenge and provoke the audience.

Hear how the proposed new national audit in Head and Neck Cancer would be able to measure performance of cancer services using routinely collected hospital level administrative and clinical datasets.

Listen to and challenge the team from the Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) programme.

Thinking of doing a Fellowship? Surgeons, oncologists and restorative dentists who have recently done UK, and overseas fellowships will share their experience. Hear about what they learnt, which fellowships worked well and how they set them up.

Meet exhibitors and get the most up to date information on new products and innovative technology.

Join us at the end of the conference for networking event to connect with colleagues and meet new collaborators.

We look forward to seeing you in London in May!

The International Centre for Recurrent Head and Neck Cancer (IReC) is hosting the 2nd annual meeting at the same venue on Thursday 16th May 2024.
