Professor Schache is a clinical-academic Head & Neck Surgeon within the Liverpool Head & Neck Centre (University of Liverpool & Aintree Hospital).

His clinical practice focuses on oral cancer surgery, reconstruction with an interest in virtual surgical planning technologies. His research spans HPV-related disease, translational oncology and improving outcomes through innovation and clinical trials.

He has had the opportunity to serve on BAHNO council since 2019, initially as OMFS representative and then latterly completing a term as the Honorary Secretary for the Association.
