Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist – Head and Neck Cancer, Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust
Bryony graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2010 and has specialised in the management of head and neck cancer since 2013. She served as the Principal Speech and Language Therapist for Head and Neck Cancer at Northwick Park Hospital, London, until 2022 and is currently the Clinical Lead SLT for Head and Neck Cancer at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Bryony has also worked as a laryngectomy clinical specialist in the commercial sector.
Passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care, she is committed to ensuring patients have access to specialist services, such as videofluoroscopy, fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES), and surgical voice restoration, within their local communities.
Bryony has presented her research at clinical excellence networks and conferences. She intends to embark on a professional doctorate programme in the coming year to further contribute to the field.
