Dr Christina Wilson started oncology training in 2011. After completion, including an RCR proton fellowship at the University of Florida, she commenced her clinical oncology consultant post at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, Glasgow in 2016. Dr Wilson specialises in Head & Neck and Upper GI cancer.
Dr Wilson main interest is training. She leads the head & neck team training, chair of local clinical oncology training committee and is chair of the RCR FRCR 2a examination board and sat on the RCR Clinical Oncology Recruitment committee.
Dr Wilson has recently been co-author of regional H&N CMGs, PI of several multi-centre H&N trials and co-author in a number of peer-reviewed journal publications. She has advised SMC on new medicine approval requests and journal reviewer for British Journal of Cancer. She was on the RCR H&N Voluming Consensus Guideline Committee.
In her spare time, she loves to go travelling.
