Sarah de Blieck is a speech and language therapist (SLT) and honorary lecturer (Strathclyde University and the University of Glasgow). Part of the two Glasgow head and neck multidisciplinary teams for twenty years, she has worked within surgical and oncology settings, in-patient and out-patient services.

Her current role as senior SLT at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital involves overseeing the in-patient service to ENT and maxfacs wards, weekly videofluoroscopy and valve change clinics and contributing to departmental involvement with multi-centre clinical trials. Her particular area of interest is surgical voice restoration after total laryngectomy.
