Clinical Nurse Specialist

Terence Lefebure is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Head and Neck at the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre, Aintree Hospital. He has been in the CNS role for eight years, having previously spent four years working on a dedicated head and neck surgical inpatient ward.

 Terence has a specialist interest in supporting patients with altered airways and is actively involved in enabling safe, high‑quality care beyond the acute setting. He provides education and training to District Nurses, Nursing homes and Hospices to support the community management of patients with altered airways.

He also has a developing interest in research and is the Associate Principal Investigator for the PETNECK2 trial at Aintree, delivering education sessions to patients managed on the PIFU arm. He is passionate about improving patient safety, supporting long‑term survivorship, and sharing practical learning to enhance multidisciplinary care across head and neck services.
